I am currently a Purple Belt at the new DeWitt Dojo in New York. I am 12 and started about 11 months ago. I absolutely love training with my instructors and other students. I've made many friends and we like to share tips with each other. I can't wait to get to Black Belt. Since I started training in BBC I set goals for myself, such as I do one more pushup every class than I did last class. I am at 67 pushups right now. I have gotten more flexible too. I can almost do a split. Karate has changed my life outside of the Dojo, too. At school I've been working harder to bring my grades up and to do all of my homework. The Three Laws of Concentration help me to stay focused during class. I loved being in the first performance for the DeWitt Team at the Black Belt Spectacular. I love karate and I think its important for other people to sell all the hard work and fun that's in it.

Personal Thoughts:
Witnessing the growth of my students from their first class to the moment Kyoshi hands them their black belt is the best feeling ever! Nothing can be more satisfying than seeing the success of my students whether it is: in the martial arts, at school, in their career, or at home.

Personal Motto:
The longer you wait to decide what you want to do, the more time youre wasting. Its up to you to want something so badly that your passion shows through in your actions. Your actions, not your words, will do the shouting for you.
